Plastic rigid piping, flexible hoses and blocks

Base manufacturing material is polypropylene homopolymer (PPH). It is a thermoplastic high molecular substance, partially crystalline with a density distinctly lower than in other used plastics, ranging from 0.90-0.91 Surface is not dissolvable and also does not swell, and therefore gluing is very difficult. On the other hand is very easy to weld. PPH has good durability against aging and therefore the system elements take pride in a long lasting life.

It is characterized by an excellent chemical resistance to acids (except for oxidant acids), alkalis and weak solvents. It has a high resistance to climatic effects and microorganisms, it is physiologically unobjectionable however, is not resistant to UV radiation.

In comparison with other common plastics it has very good surface hardness and sufficient elasticity at low temperatures. PPH is also characterized by good impact resistance, good electro-insulation properties with practically zero absorption of condensate and high heat transference short-term up to 140 °C). It also has very low heat conductivity (only 0.22 W/mK), and therefore does not result in a major decrease of temperature of combustion gases in piping, as occurs with e.g. stainless steel. PPH ranks among thermoplastic, and therefore when heated and cooled, it retains its excellent properties.


Blade o-rings, circular o-rings and other sealing system elements are made from ethylene-propylene-diene -rubber-M class (EPDM), and are placed in all pipes and blocks during manufacture. It is a very high quality elastomer with long- lasting resistance against the effects of condensate, high temperatures (short-term up to 150 °C), with resistance against aging, oxidation, ozone and atmospheric effects. This acid-resistant rubber has also very good resistance to chemicals as inorganic matter (including carbon dioxide), and organic polar compounds. However, EPDM has very poor resistance to crude oil matter.

Outer coating and anchoring elements

Systems LIB and LAB have the outer coating and its anchoring elements constructed of highly polished construction alloy stainless steel material no. 1.4301 (marked according to EN ISO X5CrNi18-10).This austenitic chrome-nickel stainless steel is very easy to weld, polish, recycle, has good ductility, resistance to deterioration, long-lasting resistance to temperatures of up to 300 °C. Steel is resistant to water, steam, air humidity, weak organic and inorganic acids.

Systems LIL and LAL have the outer coating and its anchoring elements constructed of plain carbon construction steel no. 1.0330 (marked according to EN ISO DC01), or from stainless steel no. 1.4301 (marked according to EN ISO X5CrNi1 8-10). Steel no. 1.0330 has a guaranteed pureness, guaranteed content of phosphor and sulfur, guaranteed minimum tensile strength, yield point and ductility are suitable for forming (rolling) while cold, and for modification of its surface by varnishing, metal-coating and enameling. Because of these properties, the surface of all system components LIL and LAL powder coated by white powder paint have an ensured protection against outer effects, as well as esthetic function.
